Supportive Services DBE Supportive Services funding was first authorized under the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 (Public Law 07-424), Section 119(c) and codified in 23 U.S.C.140(c). It is to be used to develop and conduct training and provide technical assistance specifically for the benefit of disadvantaged, minority, and women-owned businesses. This area of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Exchange is to assist the DBE practitioners and administrators with issues related to Supportive Services. One of the primary objectives of this section is to give interested parties a place to look for innovative ideas and to receive information from peers on ways to implement the supportive services programs. Please use this website to ask questions or lend support by posting ideas on any subject related to application of the DBE Supportive Services Program.
