I am looking for the most effective way to wash the cities fleet of snow
trucks, especially where salt is concerned. I would prefer a two step system
that will remove the salt and then effectively wash the trucks. I have not
found a touchless wash to be very effective in cleaning the trucks.

Michael,

I don't have any specific answers for you, but recommend that you post this
question on the snow & ice listserv. I think you'll get a strong reply from
that list. Go to www.sicop.net to find out more about the listserv and to
subscribe.

You should check out a company called DyChem. www.dychem.com The know all
about the salt industry as their sister company is a specialist in the snow and
ice production of safe non corrosive salt. They have one of the best two -
step systems out there.

We have used the DyChem Truck Washing System and it has surpassed our needs in
terms of cleaning our fleet and meeting our expectations. The system is
phenomenal.
