I am looking for pictures of how detectable warnings have been installed in historic areas or near historic buildings. I am trying to build up a set of examples that can be used to show options to members of the public for proposed projects. Please provide a web address or email me the pictures. Thank you very much. --Linda M. Osiecki

Linda, The City of Port Townsend, Washington is a historic victorian era seaport. They have adopted the Neenah Foundry Co. cast iron detectable warning plate as their standard and have recently installed them around their renovated city hall building. The cast iron DWP meets all the ADA standards and satisfies the ADAAG standards for contrast. In addition it is the most durable product on the market bar none. Their website is www.nfco.com.
