FHWA's Office of Freight Management and Operations and the Office of Planning
host the "Talking Freight" seminars.
The February 21, 2007 (1:00-2:30 p.m. ET) session will feature two speakers.
Tianjia Tang from FHWA's Freight office will cover the freight research and
funding opportunities and Kitty Hancock from Virginia Tech will present the
preliminary findings from last September TRB's Freight Demand Modeling: A
Conference on Tools for Public-Sector Decision Making.
This seminar will give you a glimpse on how funding, contracting, and freight
modeling needs are programmed and implemented and it will benefits you during
proposal preparation.
