Highway Community Exchange - Federal Highway Administration

Welcome to the Alternative Contracting Community of Practice (CoP). This site is intended to provide FHWA, State and local agency staff with a forum for sharing alternative contracting methods, processes, experiences and other information that may aid in the delivery of highway construction projects nationwide. The site is split into four parts--(1) Discussion for questions and answers, (2) References with links to relevant documents or websites for additional information, (3) Works in Progress to allow discussion of draft documents, and (4) A Directory listing members formally registered with the CoP. By registering through My Interests, you may elect to receive email notification of new items posted to the CoP. While the Office of Program Administration, Contract Administration Group administers the site to ensure the integrity and appropriateness of the posted material, the contents in the Discussion may not reflect the opinion or policy of the Federal Highway Administration.
