Welcome to the Rural ITS Community of Practice (CoP). This website is hosted by the Rural ITS Work Group - a subset of FHWA's Operations Council. The goal of the work group is to encourage discussions related to Rural ITS issues and opportunities, to foster and contribute to the development and implementation of related technologies, applications and innovative practices. All are welcome to post comments and updates. If you would like to upload documents in the reference or works in progress sections, please email Ray Murphy at ray.murphy@fhwa.dot.gov. This community is dedicated to the open exchange of information and knowledge on Rural ITS.
