  Work Zones

Welcome to the Work Zone Community of Practice (CoP) website.  This site is dedicated to the open exchange of information and knowledge on all areas related to work zones - awareness, best practices, ITS applications, safety, temporary traffic control, operations and management. This forum allows anyone interested in work zones to interact on any issue and to assist others in acquiring knowledge from an array of professionals throughout the country. Since this site allows the contribution of thoughts and ideas in an open forum, content found in the Group Discussions may not necessarily reflect the opinion or policy of the FHWA. For further information, contact Daniel Grate at Daniel.grate@fhwa.dot.gov or 404-562-3912; Ken Wood at ken.wood@fhwa.dot.gov or 708-283-4340; Emiliano Lopez at Emiliano.lopez@fhwa.dot.gov or 410-962-0116. Please review the associated CoP Directory for e-mail addresses and organizational affiliations of participants and facilitators.
