What is the Real Estate Exchange?

This site allows people with common interests, goals or expertise to share their experiences and knowledge, collaborate on work, identify and exchange best practices and advance the state-of-the-art in their field. Our goal is a transfer of knowledge within and throughout our organization to promote better decision-making, spark innovation, and improve the quality of service to our customers and partners. This site allows the contribution of thoughts and ideas in an open forum.

What kind of information and interactivity does the Real Estate Exchange offer?

Topic Areas. The Real Estate Exchange is organized into topic areas as listed on the home page.

Collaboration: In each topic area, there are tabs for Discussion, Reference, and Directory. In the Discussion section, you can submit general comments, ask for help, or start a new discussion of an issue not addressed. In the Reference section, you have access to policy and other information. In the Directory, you will find contact information for all identified users with an interest in this topic area.

Event Calendar: In the Event Calendar section, you can share event information and learn about related conferences, workshops, and meetings.

What's New: In the What's New area, you can scan new items from across all of the topic areas and the calendar. It's an easy way to keep up to date.

e-Mail Notification: Bringing the Information to You. Fill out a profile that tells the Real Estate Exchange what group areas are of interest to you. The site will automatically notify you once daily via e-mail when new items fitting your interest profile are added. The e-mail contains not only the title of the item but also an abstract of the item and a URL that links directly to the item at the site.
