The FHWA Office of Asset Management has published a number of documents relating to the challenges of data integration. Included below are: * A data integration fact sheet (DataIntFS.pdf) that describes the "what and why" of data integration in light of the FHWA's Data Integration Initiatives. * A data integration glossary (DIGloss.pdf) that helps define some of the terms commonly used in the practice of data integration. * The FHWA Data Integration Primer (diprimer.pdf), which outlines some of the basic concepts and ideas for integrating data in transportation agencies.
